Library & File Mentions
Store documents and reference them in AIRA conversations
Library & File Mentions
The Library is your workspace's document storage. You can save reports AIRA generates, upload your own files, and organize everything into folders. When you need AIRA to reference a specific document, use @-mentions to pull it into the conversation.
What Is the Library?
The Library is where your workspace stores documents. It holds two kinds of content:
- AIRA-generated artifacts — Reports, tables, and analyses that AIRA creates during conversations and that you choose to save.
- Uploaded documents — Files you bring in yourself, such as brand guidelines, competitor reports, product specs, or any other reference material.
Everything in the Library is available to your entire workspace team.
Saving AIRA Artifacts to the Library
When AIRA generates an artifact during a conversation, you can save it for future reference:
- When AIRA generates an artifact, click Save to Library on the artifact panel.
- Choose an existing folder or create a new one.
- The artifact is now stored in your Library and available for future reference or @-mentioning.
Saved artifacts retain their full content — tables, charts, and written analysis are all preserved.
Uploading Documents
You can upload your own files to the Library for AIRA to reference:
- Navigate to Library in the sidebar.
- Click Upload.
- Select your file from your computer.
- Optionally add tags or choose a folder to keep things organized.
Uploaded documents become part of your workspace's knowledge base. AIRA can read and reference them when you use @-mentions.
Using @-Mentions to Reference Files
This is where the Library becomes powerful. You can pull any document into an AIRA conversation using @-mentions:
- In the AIRA chat box, type @ to open the file search menu.
- Start typing to filter by document name.
- Select the document you want to reference.
- AIRA reads the document and uses its contents as context when answering your question.
Example
Upload a competitor analysis report to your Library. Then in AIRA:
@Competitor-Report-Q4 "What are the three key takeaways from this report, and how should we respond?"
AIRA reads the full document and provides a summary with actionable recommendations tailored to your business.
What You Can @-Mention
- Saved AIRA artifacts (reports, tables, analyses)
- Uploaded documents (PDFs, text files, spreadsheets)
- Any file stored in your Library
Organizing with Folders
Keep your Library organized by creating folders for different categories:
- Reports — Monthly reports, quarterly reviews
- Brand — Brand guidelines, tone of voice documents, style guides
- Competitors — Competitive analysis, market research
- Campaigns — Campaign briefs, performance summaries
To create a folder, navigate to the Library and click New Folder.
Searching the Library
Use the search bar at the top of the Library to find documents by name, tag, or content. Search works across all folders and file types.
@-mentions are powerful. Upload your brand guidelines, @-mention them in AIRA, and ask AIRA to create content that matches your brand voice. The results are dramatically better when AIRA has your specific context.
