Exporting Data
AccessFuel gives you two ways to get data out of the platform: CSV downloads for offline analysis and shareable URL-based views for collaboration.
CSV Export
You can download customer lists from segments and personas as CSV files. This is useful for importing audiences into ad platforms, email tools, or your own spreadsheets.
How to Export
- Navigate to a Segment or Persona
- Click the Export or Download CSV button
- Choose a platform format (optional):
- Default -- Full Name, Email
- Facebook/Meta -- email, phone, first name, last name, country, zip
- Google Ads -- Email, Phone, First Name, Last Name, Country, Zip
- Klaviyo -- Email, Phone, First Name, Last Name
- Your download link is generated and ready to use
One-Time Download Links
For security, each CSV export generates a unique, time-limited download link.
- Links expire after 24 hours
- Each link can only be used once
- After expiration, you need to generate a new export
Download links are single-use and expire in 24 hours. Save the file to your computer as soon as you download it.
What's Included
Exported CSV files contain customer data from the selected segment or persona:
- Customer name and email address
- Phone number and country (platform formats only)
- Data is deduplicated when exporting from multiple segments
Shareable Dashboard Views
Every table view in AccessFuel stores its state in the URL. This means your current filters, sorting, and pagination are encoded directly in the browser address bar.
What Gets Preserved in the URL
- Search queries -- Any text you type in a search field
- Sort column and direction -- Which column you sorted by and whether it's ascending or descending
- Current page -- The page number you're viewing
- Filter selections -- Active filters applied to the table
How to Share a Filtered View
- Apply your desired filters, sorting, or search to any table
- Copy the URL from your browser's address bar
- Send the URL to a teammate
Your teammate will see the exact same view -- same filters, same sort order, same page.
Teammates must have access to your workspace to view shared links. The URL preserves the view state, not the data permissions.
Bookmarkable Views
Because the full table state lives in the URL, you can bookmark any filtered view for quick access later. This is especially useful for:
- Saving a frequently used segment filter
- Bookmarking a sorted customer list you check regularly
- Creating browser shortcuts to specific dashboard configurations
Clearing Filters
To reset a table back to its default view, click the Clear filters button that appears when any filter is active. This removes all search queries, resets sorting to the default column, and returns to the first page.
You can also use your browser's back button to step through previous filter states, since each filter change creates a new history entry.
Common Questions
Can I export data from any table?
CSV export is currently available for customer segments and personas. Product analytics and other dashboard tables are view-only at this time.
Can I schedule recurring exports?
Not yet. Each export is generated on demand. If you need regular exports, check back -- automated exports are on our roadmap.
What happens if my download link expires?
Simply go back to the segment or persona and generate a new export. The process takes just a few seconds.
